WHAT IS QUEER & BAZAAR? Queer & Bazaar is a seasonal pop-up marketplace celebrating local LGBTQIA+ creativity and community. Each event takes place at a unique venue and features of plethora of artists, makers, designers, small businesses, and community resources.
WILL THE EVENT BE ACCESSIBLE? Since each venue comes with it’s own unique challenges, accessibility information for both vendors and attendees is communicated in advance via email and promotional material. If you have any questions or concerns about this please reach out to us directly!!
HOW MUCH IS IT TO TABLE AT Q&B? Our vendor fee is $20 PWYC and helps cover any rental fees, vendors amenities, and keeping the event free for public. (Payment information is sent out via email).
WHAT ARE VENDOR AMENITIES? We will have a Q&B Team Member performing regular check-ins, trash runs, and table sitting for food/bathroom breaks.
WHAT DO VENDORS NEED TO BRING? Vendors are responsible for providing their own 6ft(max) folding table, comfy folding chairs, water bottles, and anything to sell/promote their wares. Some locations may require an outdoor tent.
WHERE CAN I SIGN UP? If you are an LGBTQIA+ artist, maker, food vendor, small business, or community organization based in the greater Kansas City metro and surrounding areas, we invite you to submit an application through our vendor sign-up form to get notified about upcoming pop-ups.
HOW MANY VENDORS ARE ACCEPTED PER EVENT? Each pop-up features around 6-10 vendors, depending on venue capacity, with products and services directly related to the theme of the event. If you would like to host a Q&B pop-up or have an idea for future theme, we’d love to get in touch with you!
