Paintings

Inspired by hand-painted cell animation, as well as set design and fabrication techniques commonly used in theater & film productions, these original acrylic paintings are designed to create an immersive viewing experience through dynamic proportions and thought-provoking imagery. Vibrantly rendered as if they’ve been pulled directly from the television screen, they often evoke a sense of playfulness and uncanny surrealism. Materials often involve cradled wood panels, custom-shaped plywood forms, interior and exterior paint, as well as premium fluid acrylics. Subject matter frequently explores many of the radiant symbols, colorful characters, and epic scenes found within the Triangle Head Universe. Each painting includes a stamp of authenticity as well as the artist’s signature. Prices available upon request.

Helping Hand (Left) is an original, 4in x 6in acrylic on wood painting taking direct inspiration from the hand of the artist. The painting itself is a technical study for a larger installation project (currently in development) and is a unique piece of history and an insightful glimpse into the playful process that goes into creating the Triangle Head Universe. Created for Visual Aids POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE benefit sale and exhibition at Barry Campbell Gallery in NYC
