KANSAS CITY ART INSTITUTE
Active from 2017-2022, the KCAI campus functioned as secret headquarters and research center for the Triangle Head Universe. This provided the ideal opportunity to perform retail testing and gather detailed psychographic and demographic information on the young adult consumer. The data obtained from these prototypes allowed us to refine some of our most famous pop-up events, such as the Love Shoppe, Shady Acres, and Sweetshop Inc.
Select courses included Beyond the Frame (Trey Hock), History of the Moving Image (Cyan Meeks), Audio Vision (Dwight Frizzell), Creative Enterprise (Andy Heise), Professional Practice (Julia Cole), Self-Publishing Power (Megan Pobywajlo) Children’s Book Illustration (Il Sung Na) and The (Printed) Queer Archive (Ruben Castillo).
For their continuous support, the Triangle Head Universe would like to thank the outstanding faculty of the Filmmaking Department and the Entrepreneurial Studies Program, as well as the Print Center Team, KCAI Student Guild, David T. Beals Studio, and Professional Practice Center.
